Rev. James Battle

As the Angelic Hosts rejoices with the arrival of another wonderful man of God, those who remain to endure have heavy hearts and indescribable sadness as a result of this tremendous loss. The Reverend James Leonard Battle gently laid his head in the Master’s arms and went to sleep in Paradise on Sunday, January 10, 2021. From there, he picked up his new wardrobe and golden keys for his everlasting life in Heaven.

Rev. Battle was the owner of Battle's Home Improvements and was a dedicated chaplain and employee of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations where he was known as "Pop" to all of the staff members.

The Glorious and Triumphant Life Celebration events have been methodically orchestrated and will proceed in the following order.  Beginning on Friday, January 15, 2021 between the evening hours of 6pm and 8pm a "Public Walk Through Visitation" will come forth as Reverend James Battle lies in a tranquil repose in the chapel of the S. Jones Funerals and Cremations. 

On Saturday, January 16, 2021 being called to order promptly at 12 o’clock Post Meridian, the Angelic Obsequies will take place at the Battle's Family Homestead, 116 Plant St., Enfield, NC.

 At the conclusion of the Triumphant “Send Off”, Rev. Battle along with adored relatives will be escorted to his earthly waiting room called Cedar View Cemetery until his name is called to receive his crown of Righteousness .
