Kenneth M. Kessler

Kenneth M. Kessler, 98, of Millville passed away Tuesday January 12, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born August 9, 1922 in Millville, a son of the late Raymond and Mary (Wilson) Kessler. He attended Millville Schools and then joined the United States Marine Corps during World War II. Ken and his wife lived in Prescott Arizona from 1968 until 2013 before returning to Millville. Prior to moving to Arizona, he worked at Girton Manufacturing in Millville. Ken was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church. Ken is survived by his wife the former Shirley M. Smith, whom he married on January 11, 1945, son Robert Kessler and wife Cheryl of Millville, two grandsons, Matthew Kessler and Shawn Kessler; and, five great grandchildren; Madison Kessler, Avery Kessler, Isabella Kessler, Gabriel Kessler and Carter Kessler. He is also survived by his brother Larry “Joe” Kessler and sister Helen Temple. Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Mary Kessler, as well as his son Clarence Roy Kessler who passed away in 1971, nine brothers; Warren “Dump”, Chester “Dozer”, Ted, Herbert, Roy, Gene, Donald “Pete”, Harold, Ira, and four sisters; Shirley Kessler, Jessie Masterson, Goldie Trivelpiece and Gladys Kniseley. Services will be held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Mill-Green United Methodist Church, 466 Old Greenwood Rd, Millville, PA 17846 with Pastor Robert Strozyk officiating.
