Frances V. Runnells, 88, of Ottumwa, died at 10:12 p.m. January 11, 2021 at West Ridge Specialty Care in Knoxville. She was born June 16, 1932 in Ottumwa to Verl and Lydia Parks Bailey. Frances married Dwight Runnells in 1949 and he preceded her in death in 2002. Frances had worked at Rolscreen Pella Corp. in Pella. She had been a member of East End Pentecostal Church of God. Surviving are her children, Brenda Runnells of Ottumwa, Betty Wellman of Pella, Sheryl Marchese of Las Vegas, NV, Mike Runnells and Martin Runnells both of Mesa, AZ and Larry Runnells of Eddyville; 7 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carl Bailey of Bloomfield. She was preceded in death by siblings, John, Clarence and Charles Bailey, Roberta Shoemaker, Rose Etta Paulos and Mary Bailey, and a great-grandson, Zach. Private funeral services will be at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Mel Kendall officiating.
