Neil John Schneider

Neil John Schneider Reunited in Heaven with his loving Mother Rosalea and Father John A. Schneider on Sunday, January 10, 2021. Born on June 27, 1941 and raised in Milwaukee's Valley/Piggsville for 73 years. Neil's final move was to The Lutheran Home where he loved living out his final years. He was very close to the great staff and enjoyed being with all the residents that lived there with him. A VERY SPECIAL THANK YOU to the Elaine's Hope Senior Memory Care staff at The Lutheran Home that took such great care of Neil. Neil had many friends growing up in the Valley/Piggsville and he really enjoyed getting together with them at his favorite place to go, "The Valley Inn". Everyone always made him feel so welcomed when he returned to visit them in his final years. Neil retired from Johnson Control's with 33 years of service. He was a real outdoors man and really enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening. Neil will be truly missed by his very close friends Kathy and Jerry Zielinski and all his resident friends at Elaine's Hope at The Lutheran Home and Milwaukee's Valley/Piggsville neighborhood and especially from "The Valley Inn" gang. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19, at SACRED HEART PARISH, 917 North 49th Street (1-1/2 blocks north of Wisconsin Avenue) from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery where Neil will be laid to rest next to his loving parents. Due to COVID there will be a Celebration of Neil's Life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elaine's Hope at The Lutheran Home, 7500 West North Avenue, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin 53213.
Church & Chapel Funeral Service Serving the Family
Milw. 262-827-0659 Wauk. 262-549-0659
Online Obit, Condolences, Directions
www.churchandchapel.com
