Shaun William Robertson, or Buckner, as many knew him, left this earthly world on January 4, 2021, as a result of an on-the-job accident. Born on January 26, 1970, to Greg and Vicky Robertson in Murray, Utah. Shaun graduated from Bingham High School in 1988. He grew up playing all types of sports and played co-ed softball most of his adult life. He was an avid outdoorsman, and got as much joy guiding others on hunting trips as he did filling his own tags. Shaun’s kids and family were the loves of his life. He and his wife, Kathy Margetts, were high school sweethearts and were blessed to have 31 years together. Shaun loved to share adventures with his kids: backpacking, horseback riding, mountain biking and hunting just to name a few. He rarely missed one of their many sporting events and was their biggest cheerleader. Shaun had a servant's heart and was always looking for ways to help his family, friends, neighbors, co-workers and people he didn’t even know. He did it because he saw a need, he loved helping others. It was his gift. Shaun worked for Newman Construction as a directional drilling foreman for 25 years. He was the best of the best! He loved his job and considered those he worked with as family. Shaun was a member of South Mountain Community Church and loved the friendships he made there and playing on the church softball team. Shaun is survived by his spouse Kathy; children, Trey and Audrey; parents, Greg and Vicky Robertson; siblings, Heidi (Rich) Underwood, Kim (Clint) Vodopich, Amy (Ryan) Stocking. Memorial Services will be held on January 13, 2021, 11:00 am at South Mountain Community Church, 11886 South 4000 West, Riverton, UT Masks required - People will be seated side by side.
