Margaret Lynn Lanaghan

Margaret Lynn Lanaghan, of Hamilton, Virginia, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was 67 years young. She dedicated her career to serving others as a Critical Care RN with Loudoun Hospital Center. Due to medical complications, she retired early and enjoyed her extended family during her retirement. She spent many of those years giving loving care to her parents, James and Jackie. In addition, she taught herself to be an accomplished woodcrafter, specializing in heirloom quality toys. Margaret was born on March 28, 1953 in Fort Worth, TX, the third of four children. She is survived by her siblings, Michael (&Anne), Patrick (&Donna) and Mary. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Maggie (& Colin), Julie (&Jim), TJ (& Gwen), Mike (& Taryn), Brian (& Laura) and Alex (& Megan). She particularly enjoyed watching them grow up, get married and add their beautiful children to her extended family (CJ, Sarah, Liam, Claire, Norah, Fletcher, Frankie, Ellie, Henry, Aileen, Eamon, and Cian). A Celebration of her life will be planned for spring or summer 2021. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to The American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
