<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Alex R. Block, age 25, of Reedsburg, formerly of Sauk Prairie, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was born on July 18, 1995 in Madison, WI to Bobbi Lietz and David Martin.&nbsp; &nbsp;Alex was subsequently adopted by Ken and Susan Block.&nbsp; He graduated from Sauk Prairie High School.&nbsp; Alex enjoyed the outdoors.&nbsp; He went kayaking, fishing and hunting with his Grandfather Ken Lietz.&nbsp; He enjoyed trains and was a member of the Mid Continent Railway Museum. He enjoyed reciting history.</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his sister, Anna Marie Block; paternal Grandparents DuWayne Block and Marie Jones, and extended family, Berdina Martin.</p> <p>Alex is survived by his parents, Ken and Sue Block of Baraboo; birth mother Bobbi Lietz of Reedsburg; birth father David Martin of Austin, MN; sister Sara Marie Block of Baraboo; maternal grandparents, Ken and Joyce Lietz of Reedsburg; Gerald Jones of Wisconsin Dells; and paternal grandfather, John Martin of Minnesota; along with other relatives and friends.</p> <p>A memorial service for Alex will be conducted at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg with Pastor William Kapp officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials of remembrance may be made to the Mid Continent Railway Museum of North Freedom.</p> <p>The Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, is assisting the family.</p>

Alex R. Block, age 25, of Reedsburg, formerly of Sauk Prairie, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021.
