<p>Elsie Faye Nowlan, 78, of Coffeen, IL, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 9:56 a.m. at Hillsboro Area Hospital in Hillsboro, IL. A Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. &ndash; 2:00 p.m. at Free Methodist Church in Coffeen, IL. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Free Methodist Church in Coffeen, IL. Rev. Eugene Dunkley, Pastor of Free Methodist Church in Coffeen, IL will officiate. Burial will be at Shiloh Cemetery in Rural Coffeen, IL.</p> <p>Mrs. Nowlan was born in Rural Fillmore, IL to the late Frank J. &amp; Ida (Hill) Schwiering. She was a Nokomis High School Graduate, Class of 1960. Mrs. Nowlan married Charles Nowlan on September 17, 1961 at Fillmore Lutheran Church in Fillmore, IL; He survives in Coffeen, IL. She had owned a daycare for several years. Mrs. Nowlan was a member of Free Methodist Church in Coffeen, IL; Mt. Moriah Ladies Aide; Last living member of Happy Hour Circle; Senior Citizens of Coffeen; she loved quilting, especially quilting lap robes. She had lived in the Coffeen area her entire life.</p> <p>Mrs. Nowlan is survived by her husband Charles Nowlan; her children Dennis (wife, Kim) Nowlan of Oak Forest, IL; Dean (wife, Tina) Nowlan of Coffeen, IL; grandchildren, Carrie Greenwood (significant other, Joseph Weller), Michael (wife, Michelle) Greenwood, Meagan Nowlan and Lucas Nowlan; four great-grandchildren, Victoria, Veronica, Katelynn, Ronan.
