Buford "Don" Clodfelter

Buford "Don" Clodfelter, 90, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021, at his home. Don was born in West Salem, Illinois on August 20, 1930, to the late Buford and Beatrice (Fildes) Clodfelter. He honorably served in the United States Army. Don was a member of Teamsters Local 215. He retired from Advanced Trucking, formerly known as A& H Truck Line, after many years of service as a semi tractor trailer driver. Don was a faithful member of Christian Fellowship Church. He enjoyed reading, fishing, had a love for music, and was a talented singer. Don loved traveling to new places, especially when he got to fly. Don is survived by his wife of 66 years, Angie Clodfelter of Evansville, IN; daughter, Laura Elpers (Tom) of Haubstadt, IN; sons, Greg Clodfelter (Mary) of Evansville, IN, Dan Clodfelter (Kathy) of Newburgh, IN, and John Clodfelter (Kim) of Henderson, KY; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Don's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 11, 2021, at Christian Fellowship Church, 4100 Millersburg Rd., Evansville, IN 47725, with Pastor David Niednagel officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday at Christian Fellowship Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christian Fellowship Church or The Salvation Army, 1040 N. Fulton Ave., Evansville, IN 47710 or Evansville Rescue Mission, 500 E.
