Wilmer Roger Murray 1939 – 2021 Wilmer Roger Murray, 81 of Catlettsburg, KY, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Community Hospice Care Center. Mr. Murray was born August 18, 1939 in Lawrence County, KY to the late Ernest R. and Virginia Brown Murray. He was also preceded in death by a son, Dennis Lee Martin Murray. Roger was a 1957 graduate of Thomas R. Brown High School and retired as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Ross Brothers Construction Co. His favorite hobby was antique cars. Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Doris Jean Pinson Murray, their son, Ernest “Rodney” Murray of Catlettsburg, KY and a sister, Bonnie Stergeon (James) of Catlettsburg, KY. Funeral Service for Mr. Murray will be at 1:00pm, Monday, January 11, 2021 at the Neal Funeral Home, 2409 Center St., Catlettsburg, KY. Pastor Mike Blankenship and Pastor Billy Ray Harris will officiate. Final resting place in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visiting Hours are 12:00pm until Service Time Monday at the Funeral Home.
