Scott A. Thurman, 62, Camby, passed away after a brief illness January 6, 2021. Scott was born November 2, 1958, to the late John and Priscilla (Doerner) Thurman. He graduated from Jasper High School and worked for many years in the grocery business. He was employed at Cub Foods and more recently in the meat department at Meijer in Franklin and Heartland Crossing. Scott enjoyed golf and fishing. He was an intelligent and precise man who will be remembered for his small stature, but mighty personality. In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Thurman and sister, Ann Heeke. Survivors include his life partner of 29 years, Joyce Bogard; daughter, Trisha; brother, Bernie Thurman; sister, Angela Brook; one grandchild. According to Scott’s wishes, cremation will take place and inurnment will be at Blackfoot Cemetery, Pike County.
