<p>Jonas Adam Sims, 37, went home to meet Jesus on January 1, 2021 following a tragic accident.&nbsp;&nbsp;Jonas was born May 19, 1983, in Columbus, Ohio.&nbsp;&nbsp;He attended Columbus Public schools.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;He grew up on Columbus&rsquo; near east side in the King Lincoln district neighborhood.&nbsp;&nbsp;Jonas was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and cousin and a plethora of friends.&nbsp;</p> <p>Jonas was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marsue Rutledge; maternal great-grandmother, Frances Hicks; grandfather, George Sims, Sr.; first cousin, James Bishop; and baby sister Maricha Johnson.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>He leaves to mourn his mother, Marla Sims; father, Douglas Robinson; step-father, Richard Johnson; sisters, Nikeysha Johnson Erika Ellman; brothers, Phillip and James Hall; children, Sammie&nbsp;Jonas, and Jamia Sims, Precious, Tiarra, and Kiarra Harvey; grandmother, Doris Bowers; special friend, Jeffrey Fortcamp, several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and acquaintances.</p> <p>Jonas was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy fan as well as a staunch Ohio State Buckeye.&nbsp;&nbsp;He loyalty to his family was unsurpassed. He was a great protector, jokester, and prankster.&nbsp;&nbsp;He enjoyed all sports, hanging out with friends and family with a cold beer and a blunt.&nbsp;&nbsp;He could definitely make you laugh or hug you when you were crying. He was a caring and fun-loving person, outgoing with a huge smile and well known laugh.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was always courteous and respectful toward his elders.&nbsp;&nbsp;Jonas knew no strangers.&nbsp;&nbsp;He will always be remembered as a wonderful father, handsome young man, loving son, and protective brother.&nbsp;&nbsp;Jonas&rsquo; sense of humor always kept everyone laughing and he could charm an eskimo into buying a freezer.&nbsp;&nbsp;He will be missed but not forgotten.</p>

Jonas Adam Sims, 37, went home to meet Jesus on January 1, 2021 following a tragic accident.  Jonas was born May 19, 1983, in Columbus, Ohio.  He attended Columbus Public schools.   He grew up on Columbus’ near east side in the King Lincoln district neighborhood.  Jonas was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and cousin and a plethora of friends.
