Underhill, VT. Robert (Bob) Veverka 66, passed away on January 3, 2021 after a brief illness. He was born in Manhattan, NY, grew up on Long Island, and moved to Vermont with his wife in 1980. Bob retired from the Postal Service after 35 years of service. Bob loved fishing, was a renowned fly tyer, and author of two books; “Innovative Salt Water Flies” and “Spey Flies and How To Tie Them”. Bob’s passion for fishing took him to many salt water beaches including his two favorite places Martha’s Vineyard and Baja, Mexico. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Diane, his mother Gladys, his sister Corinne and her husband Jeff, his brother Dave and his wife Tina, his mother and father in-law Ralph and Dorothy, his sister in-law Doreen and her husband Steve, his brother in-law Ralph and his wife Janet, 11 nieces and nephews, and 3 great nieces. He was predeceased by his father Bob. As per Bobs request there will be no visiting hours.
