Katherine June Flanders

EAST PITTSFORD- Katherine June Flanders, 90 of East Pittsford died Wednesday morning December 30, 2020 at her residence. She was born on June 10, 1930 in Proctor the daughter of George Edson and Katherine May (English) Hewitt. She grew up in Pittsford, graduating from Pittsford High School. She married Reginald R. Flanders on March 3, 1950 in Pittsford. Katherine was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include 4 sons, Steven Flanders of Highland, Calif., William Flanders and David Flanders, both of East Pittsford, Thomas Flanders of Chittenden,2 daughters, Regina Flanders of Castleton and Donna Flanders of East Pittsford, a sister Dorothy LaFountain, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald, sons Kevin Flanders and Robert Flanders, a grandson Travis Flanders and 2 brothers Robert Hewitt and George Hewitt. Calling hours will be held Monday January 4, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM at the Barnard Funeral Home in Pittsford. Burial will be at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery in Pittsford. Due to Covid restrictions, family groups will be allowed to pay their respects one group at a time. The family asks that groups respect the waiting time for others.
