Clifford Allen Coker Cox Funeral Home Bastrop, Louisiana BASTROP, LA. Funeral services for Mr. Clifford A. Coker will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Corinth Baptist Church with the Reverends Doug Edwards and Glen Hutchison officiating. Interment will follow at the Causey Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop. Clifford Allen Coker, a retired painter, was born July 17, 1944 in Bastrop to the late George Washington Coker and Willie Westin Coker. He passed away March 21, 2012, at Cherry Ridge Guest Care in Bastrop. Mr. Coker is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, A.D. Coker, Kenneth Coker, and Thomas Jefferson "T.J." Coker, two sisters, Ophelia Hudson and Helen Lebrun, and a grandson, Colton Gilliam. Mr. Coker is survived by his wife, Minnie Coker of Bastrop; five children, Lisa Robinson and her husband, Rob, Terri Tompkins and her husband, Greg, Allen Coker and his wife, Karen, Timmy Coker and his wife, Kellie, and Emmett Irby; six grandchildren, Chris Irby and wife, Jackie, Brandon Mayo and wife, Brittany, Blake Mayo and wife, Meagan, Brady Robinson and wife, Kayla, Morgan Coker, and Rainy Brown; four great-grandchildren, Layla Irby, Tyler Irby, Braelynn Mayo, and Chloe Matthews; brother, Danny Coker and his wife Donna; and three sisters, Jaunice Gorman and her husband, Cecil, Vickie Crawford and her husband, Bobby, and Linda Carol Coker. Serving as pallbearers are Kirk Sands, Tony Johnson, Gene Gunter, Hughie McDuffie, Darrell Lebrun, and Shane Gorman. The family will receive friends Friday, March 23, 2012 beginning at 5:00 P.M. at Corinth Baptist Church, Bastrop, Louisiana.
