Jacqueline (Jackie) McGill of North Canton, Ohio passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the age of 96. She was born on May 21, 1924 in Auburn, IL. to the late Thornton and Elevera Short. She lived in the Canton area most of her life. She graduated from Canton South High School in 1942. She retired from Perry Local Schools as a baker and cook at Watson Elementary School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl McGill. Jackie will be greatly missed by her children daughter, Stacy McGill of Canal Fulton and son Russ (Aggie) McGill of North Canton; granddaughter, Alissa McGill of Stow and grandson, Scott McGill of North Canton. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Windsor Medical Center for their loving and compassionate care other the past year. There will be no calling hours. Jackie will be laid to rest in Sunset Hills Burial Park. A private service will be at a later date.
