Joseph "Nick" Nickerson

Joseph G. "Nick" Nickerson, 76, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at home in Pascoag, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Norman and Loretta (Duhamel) Nickerson. Nick worked in the power plant at Zambarano Hospital in Pascoag for many years. He served his country in the US Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War era. He and his wife were married December 28, 1968. He leaves behind his loving wife, Kathleen (Macleod) Nickerson of Pascoag; his son, Derek Nickerson and his wife Jennifer of Woonsocket; his daughter, Jenny Schofield and her husband Neil of Charlton, MA; his brother, Dennis Nickerson and his wife Patricia of TN; his sister, Carol Cooke of No. Providence and five grandchildren: Nathan and Evan Nickerson, Aidan and Avery Aissis and Allison Schofield. He was predeceased by his siblings, David Nickerson and Kathleen Reardon. His funeral arrangements are private and under the direction of the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag.
