RICHTER Margie A. age 85, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Friday November 8, 2013 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born on May 4, 1928 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of George and Norma (Preble) Shelton. She was educated in the Hamilton Schools graduating from Hamilton High School in 1946 and Cincinnati State with a degree in Medical Records Technology. On January 25, 1947 in St. Veronica Church she married David E. Richter and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2008. She was employed at Mercy Hospital of Hamilton and Fairfield as the Medical Records Director. She was a charter member of Sacred Heart Church and Mercy Hospital Auxiliary. She is survived by her 2 daughters Julie Mulcahey and Nancy (Roy) Ellis; 7 grandchildren Kathy (Carl) Ramstetter, Diana (Fred) Tabbal, Susie (David) Fater, Katie (Jeff) Gilliland, Michael ( Emily) Mulcahey, Sarah (Tom) Hilgeman and Jessica Mulcahey; 14 great-grandchildren; brother Gene Shelton; sister Joy Brady; sister-in-law Juanita O’Donohoe; and also many other relatives, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David and son Mark Richter. Prayers will be Wednesday November 13, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home 3950 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, with Fr. Larry Tharp, officiating. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until time of prayers at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Remembrances may be sent to Mercy Hospital Auxiliary or Hospice of Cincinnati, Hamilton Unit.
