<p>Alan F. Hetzel, 64, of Barnegat, NJ, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ.&nbsp; Born in Englewood, NJ to his late parents, Herman and Frances&nbsp;Hetzel, he lived for the past 20 years in Barnegat with his loving wife, Mary and faithful dog, Coco.&nbsp; Alan was looking forward to relocating to Delaware &amp; spending time with his family in retirement.</p> <p>He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Mary; two children, Alan C. (LeeAnn) and Josh; two step-children, Joseph Fabiano (Kristen) and Christina Fabiano; seven grandchildren, Gene, Ryan, Isabella, Lily, Joey, Ashlyn and Brayden; sister, Ellen Nolan (Tom); brothers, Andy Hetzel (Bobbie) and Bruce Hetzel and many other family members who loved him dearly. He was predeceased by his brother, Brian.&nbsp;Alan was a dedicated husband and grandfather that has left many memories that will live in our hearts forever until we meet again.</p> <p>A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 4-6 PM with a Blessing to follow at 6 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Avenue, Barnegat, NJ.
