David Chrisman, 84, of Edinburgh, passed away Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Franciscan
Health in Greenwood.
Born on December 22, 1935 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Everitt and Mary (Newton)
Chrisman. He married Phyllis (Emerick) Chrisman on November 1956 in Flat Rock. They 
have 3 children- Jeffrey Chrisman (wife Jennie), Jane Chrisman of Edinburgh and
Steve Chrisman-deceased, 2 grandchildren Jill Chrisman (Ike Zaring and daughter
Jenna, Jarrod Chrisman( Jasmine Pierson) children Everett Chrisman, Endly
Chrisman- Emmy Raley, and Easton Raley, all of Edinburgh.
Dave lived on the same homeplace farm all his life. Farming and family were his pride
and joy. He drove school bus for Bartholomew County Schools for 10 years ,he was on
the Farmers Marketing Board of Directors, Bartholomew Co. Soil & Water, Planning Commission, 
and a Euchre card group with  special friends for 60 years. He completed in NTPA & Hoosier
State Tractors with his AC 180 very competitive in both organizations. He was a member
of the Norristown Farmers Masonic Lodge #147 F & AM, and a member of Flat Rock
United Methodist Church. Due to COVID-19, a private service will be held. A 
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made
to the Flat Rock Methodist Church, 2497 W. Flat Rock Road, Flat Rock, In 47234.
