Jack Anderson
Jack Anderson, age 80, died Monday, May 22, 2017 unexpectedly at his home in North Land O’ Lakes/Watersmeet. He was born April 14, 1937 in Rock Island, IL to parents Ray and Margaret Anderson. Jack grew up working with his Dad at his store Ray Anderson Radio and TV. He attended and graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island. His career started at John Deere and Co. where he held various positions in the accounting department. He then worked at Mercy Hospital in Davenport, IA. Jack started as a Comptroller and worked his way up to become the Chief Financial Officer. He retired after 30 years. Jack and his wife Kate moved to North Land O’ Lakes/Watersmeet in 1998. They enjoyed taking drives and loved visiting the Michigan State Parks. Jack loved fishing, the outdoors and taking care of his yard. Jack is survived by his wife of 60 years: Kate Anderson of Land O’ Lakes, WI; children: Kris (Larry) Bykerk and Rick (Kim) Anderson both of Naperville, IL; grandchildren: Ethan and Kara Bykerk, Sylvie and Ryan Anderson; numerous relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 30, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Community Church in Boulder Junction, WI.
