On Friday, December 11, 2020, Rose Marie Antonetz, our loving Wife, Mother, Nana, Mother-in-Law, Aunt and Best Friend, passed away at the age of 72. Rose was born on November 18, 1948 in Norwalk, CT. to Anthony and Marie (Valiante) Dorta . She graduated from Staples High School in Westport, CT. in 1967. Rose married Bill Antonetz on May 17, 1969 and they raised one daughter, Denise. Cooking was Rose’s passion, everyone loved her signature Eggplant Parmesan. Rose loved to go on cruises. Spending time with her family was her number one priority. Her and daughter Denise were inseparable. Rose loved kids and kids loved her back equally. She was a Big Kid at heart herself. Her best of times were spent with her most cherished and only grandson Dylan whom she was so proud of. She had a beautiful smile and laugh and would make friends with anyone she met. Rose was preceded in death by her father, Anthony and her mother, Marie. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bill, her daughter Denise, grandson Dylan and son in law Don and several cousins and a nephew. Rose led a beautiful life which was taken too soon. She will be deeply missed by all and will always hold a special place in our hearts. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at 2:00pm at Holy Name of Jesus 3050 North Highway A1A, Indialantic. Family and friends visitation starting at 1:30pm. Ceremony of burial of ashes in the church garden will immediately follow the mass. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a cancer fund of your choice.
