Kathryn B. Cooper Inman Kathryn Bruce Cooper, 89, of 261 Zimmerman Rd., died Sunday, March 7, 2010. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the widow of Carl M. Cooper, and daughter of the late Elijah M. and Beatrice McCarter Bruce. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church, The Mary Harley Sunday School Class, and a retired employee of Butte Knit. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Robert (Bobby) Bogan, and a son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Ernestine Cooper, all of Lyman; three grandchildren, Travis and wife, Becky Bogan, of Pickens, Kristen and husband, Curtis Durham, and Scott Cooper, all of Lyman and a great grandson, Carson Durham of Lyman. Mrs. Cooper was predeceased by three sisters, Lavonia Barnett, Geneva Barton and Pauline Sloan. Services will be held 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Dr. Tim Clark and Rev. Henry Stanford officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Honorary escorts will be members of the Mary Harley Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Improvement Fund, 251 Hannon Rd., Inman, SC 29349.
