Earl Towery Duncan Clyde Earl Towery, 84, of 206 Beckon Ridge Road passed away Friday, November 9, 2012. Mr Towery was the husband of Irene Smith Towery and the son of the late Robert Clyde and Fannie Glassin Towery. He retired from The United States Marine Corp. after 30 years of service and is a member of Tucapau Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Donnie Towery of China, Dr. Chris Towery, and Dr. Bobby Towery, both of California, a step son, Carroll Parks of Duncan, two step daughters, Sherry Blackwell and Melody Bullman, both of Duncan a brother, Marvin Towery of Greer, a sister, Juanita McCall of Duncan, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Hubert Towery, and two sisters, Louise Bradley and Mary Alice Fuller. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Tuesday at The Stribling Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Nixon officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 prior to the service. Interment will be at Wood Memorial Park with Military Rites.
