Mrs. Margaret Ray Pannell of Raeford went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday December 10, 2020 at the age of 93. Mrs. Pannell was born in Hoke County on August 8, 1927 to the late Daniel Max Ray and Lessie Smith Ray. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence S. Pannell. She was a lifelong and very active member of Parker United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Mrs. Pannell is survived by a son, Daniel E. Pannell and his wife Vicki of Vass, NC; three daughters, Laura P. Lane of Raeford, Linda C. Goepper and her husband Dant of Greenville, SC., Eileen P. Walker and her husband Lloyd of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; two grandchildren, Patrick N. Walker and his wife Molly and Stacy Walker; a brother Gerald Ray of York, SC. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Parker United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to: Parker United Methodist Church P.O.
