Myra Rose Zarnoch Weirton, West Virginia Obituary

Myra Rose Zarnoch

Myra Rose Zarnoch, 61, of Weirton, passed away Wednesday, January 29, at her home after a spirited battle with colon and liver cancer. Born November 22, 1952 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was a daughter of Margaret Wisnosky of Penn Hills, PA and the late Frank Wisnosky. In addition to her mother, Myra is survived by her husband Charles Zarnoch of Weirton; sons Zachary Zarnoch and his wife Dr. Julie Uspal-Zarnoch of Ardmore, PA, and Corey Zarnoch of Weirton; and her sister Marla Perri and her husband Michael of Leechburg, PA. Myra served as a medical transcriptionist for Mercy Hospital, Weirton Medical Center and WPS Corporation. Most recently, she worked with her dear friends in the billing department for Change, Inc. A beloved wife and mother, Myra worked tirelessly to provide and care for "her three boys", including her husband. She looked forward every year to the family trip to Hilton Head Island, SC, where she would spend the week walking on the beach, lounging in the pool, and enjoying homemade frozen margaritas. An avid Penguins fan, Myra was never shy to share her love of the team on Facebook. Her many cherished friendships included that of Ted and Paula Harrington, whose love and support were always appreciated by her and her family. Those who were lucky enough to have known Myra will never forget her generosity, loving demeanor, and warm heart. Visitations will be held Saturday from 2:00 PM until the time of funeral services at 4:30 PM at Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to The Lighthouse Domestic Violence Awareness Center, 3058 West Street, Weirton, WV 26062.
