Francis Duane Riley, age 75 of Belmont, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, December 27. Frank was born on December 11, 1941 in Kingsley, MI to Thomas and Mabel (Evans) Riley who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Sam and Rose Curcuru; his sister, Sandra Koprowski; his nephew and godson, Dennis Riley; and his great nephews, Nicholas La Madline and Trenton La Madline. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Maria (Curcuru) Riley; his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Dennis Rogers, his son, Timothy Riley; his granddaughters, Alexa Rogers and Shaye Rogers; his brothers, Tom and Edyie Riley and Terry and Betsy Riley; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Philip Curcuru and Joseph Bowe of CA, Joseph and Sharon Curcuru, Josephine and Steve Larkin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00am on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 6369 Belmont Ave NE, Belmont, MI 49306. Fr. Tony Pelak will be officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Pederson Funeral Home, 127 N. Monroe Street, Rockford, MI. A Rosary will take place at 7:30pm on Friday at the funeral home. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the church. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in Belmont. Memorial Contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society or Assumption BVM Catholic Church.
