Sandra M. Long Obituary

Sandra M. Long, 79, of Norwalk, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 4, 2020.  She was born on June 13, 1941 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Louis and Margaret (Leib) Gruhlke.

Sandy’s positive outlook and upbeat attitude were enough to make anyone smile.  The light within her, and her love for the Lord resonated throughout her bright, sweet, and loving nature.  She had worked for Fanny Farmer for nearly 20 years, Fremont Cutlery, and Stevens Printing Company in Sandusky.  Sandy enjoyed walking and yard work in her younger years.  She truly enjoyed playing Bingo and all the activities and outings at the Norwalk Memorial Home.  The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff who extended their loving care to Sandy.

Survivors include her daughters, Gail Smart Taylor, and Joann; grandson, Tony Taylor, and other grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; sister, Barbara Gruhlke; and brother, Arlin Gruhlke.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
