Mykolaj “Nick” Wysznewskij, age 89 of Harrisville/Nevada, passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, December 4, 2020 in Mesquite, NV surrounded by his loving family. 

Nick was born on March 8, 1931 in Ukraine, the son of Paul and Natalia (Sahaj) Wysznewskij. He immigrated to the USA, where he married the love of his life, Ursula, on July 21, 1955 in Chicago, IL.

The family moved to Montello, WI in 1973 where Nick founded his business, Apex Mold & Die and EuroPlast Ltd., which he ran until his retirement. 

Life was good, but Wisconsin was too cold, so Nick & Ursula moved to Nevada. 

Nick enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening his flowers, feeding his wild quail, and of course gambling. 

Nick is survived by his children: Olga (Harald) Zacharias, Walter Wysznewskij, Ingrid (David Burns) Kortenhoven, Michael (Tina Due) Wysznewskij; his sister: Val Zaehringer; his nephew's: Peter (Patricia) Zaehringer, Michael Wechet, Nicolas (Nicole) Wechet.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Ursula; his parents, Paul and Natalia; his niece, Kathrine Wechet; his beloved grandson, Garrett Butler and his best friend and brother in law, Frank Zaehringer.

Nick will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

A visitation for Nick will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield.  A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. led by Archbishop Abel.  Social distancing and masks will be required. 

A private funeral service for family will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Steinhaus-Holly Funeral Home in Westfield with Archbishop Abel officiating.  Burial will be in Sheldon Cemetery, Town of Harris.
