Danville – Michael Gary Bessler, 48, of Bismarck, IL passed away at 12:57 PM on December 3, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Michael was born on December 31, 1971 the son of Gary and Betty (Ayers) Bessler in Peoria, IL.

Michael is survived by his parents, Gary and Betty Bessler of Bismarck, IL, one son and one brother.

Michael is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Michael attended St. Paul’s Catholic Church and worked at Illinois Bell as a Technician. He enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, and playing golf.

Celebration of Michael’s life will be held at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements. Cremation rites will be accorded, and inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
