F. George Peters
<p>F. George Peters, 89, of Wooster, died Saturday, December 5, 2020 at West View Healthy Living, in Wooster.</p> <p>Services will be Thursday at 12 pm on Facebook Live with his son Pastor Tom Peters and Pastor Robert D. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. </p> <p>George was born February 1, 1931 in Ashland to Fred and Nellie {Wills} Peters. He married Jane Johnson on June 20, 1954. She died June 2, 2020. </p> <p>George worked for Rubbermaid for 11 years. Then, from 1968-1981 he served as a missionary to Africa. Following his ministry overseas, he worked for Job Training Partnership. In 1993, he joined the staff at Grace Brethren Church as Pastor to senior adults.</p> <p>George was a member of Grace Church where he taught Sunday School for 35 years. He enjoyed collecting covered bridge memorabilia and traveling with his wife, Jane. </p> <p>George will be deeply missed by his sons Daniel (Sherry) of Wooster, David (Anita) of Orrville, Tom (Sue) of Wooster and Phil (Su) Peters of Olympia, WA; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Jean Gordon.</p> <p>George was preceded in death by his wife, Jane, sister Charlotte Jelley and brother Bob Peters.</p>February 1, 1931 - December 5, 202002/01/193112/05/2020
