Green, Herbert 'Herb' November 14, 1934 - December 2, 2020 It is with broken hearts the family of Herb announce his peaceful passing on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the age of 86. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Marion and his daughters Cheryl (late Jim) Green, Charlene (Tony) Claroni, Darlene (Sam) Green and Pam (Greg) George. Adoring Grandpa to Eddie (Dawn) McCooey, Dustin (Liz) McCooey, Kristyn McCooey, Gregory (Averil) Claroni, Pamela (KC) Parkes, Jeremy Plante, Jake Cirasolo, Daniel (Samantha) George, Sarah (Chris) Simek, Maggie (Roy) George and Andrew George. Herb was a very proud great-grandpa to his precious great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Alexis, Hannah, Sophie, Liam, London, Kinley, Lily, Mason, Kage and Kai. Herb retired as a Carman after 38 years with the CNR (Canadian National Railway). He was Mason and a Shriner and enjoyed coaching his daughters along with his wife to a Provincial softball title, a truly proud moment for Herb, and always loved running their race car -“ That’s It “ and playing music with the CN Country Boys. Family vacations were always cherished time, as was boating and fishing in North Bay and Bay of Quinte. Herb could always be found maintaining his hobby farm and cutting his immaculately kept grass. Above all things, Herb loved his wife and daughters and his family. He enjoyed the simple things marriage has to offer, like going for a drive, dancing or sitting on the front porch together, just spending quality time with the love of his life, Marion.
