<p>Hugh Anthony (Tony) Miller, age 56, passed away on November 30, 2020 at St. Mary&rsquo;s Hospital in Waterbury, CT.&nbsp; He was born on December 3, 1963 in Kingston, Jamaica to Gloria Jean (Thompson) Grant Carter and Vincent Miller.&nbsp;</p> <p>Tony graduated from Vauxhall High School in Kingston, Jamaica where he studied carpentry.&nbsp; &nbsp;He emigrated to New York City, NY in 1991 where he lived with his mother and siblings in Mt. Vernon, NY.&nbsp; He later lived in Beacon Falls, CT.</p> <p>Tony was a kindhearted, loving man who went out of his way to help others.&nbsp; He was always smiling, laughing and singing a little tune.&nbsp; Tony loved to cook and care for others, much like his mother.&nbsp;</p> <p>He was preceded in death by his mother and father where they are reunited once again in Heaven.</p> <p>Tony is survived by his son, Jonathan (BJ) Miller; brothers, Lloyd George Grant Jr. and Richard Grant; sister, Michele Marie McClary; nephews, Travis Grant, Christopher Grant and Ryan Grant; niece Amanda Grant and many beloved cousins and grandnephews and grandnieces.</p> <p>A private Celebration of Life will be held for immediate family on December 12, 2020.&nbsp; Tony will be laid to rest near his cherished mother at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull, CT.&nbsp; Online condolences may be left at www.redgatehennessy.com.</p>

Obituary

Hugh Anthony (Tony) Miller, age 56, passed away on November 30, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, CT.  He was born on December 3, 1963 in Kingston, Jamaica to Gloria Jean (Thompson) Grant Carter and Vincent Miller. 

Tony graduated from Vauxhall High School in Kingston, Jamaica where he studied carpentry.   He emigrated to New York City, NY in 1991 where he lived with his mother and siblings in Mt. Vernon, NY.  He later lived in Beacon Falls, CT.
