RONALD EUGENE BAILEY, 58 years of age of Oakwood, VA, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Edward and Lillian Ruth Stacy Scalf. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Christian faith. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend, and loved to ride ATVs and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Scalf, step-father, Jackie Scalf, sister, Beverly Bailey and infant grandson, Cameron Stanley. Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Kathleen (Timmy) Stanley of Raccoon, KY, his son, Austin Whited of Oakwood, VA, brother, Mark Scalf of Kingsport, TN, sister, Lisa Scalf of Big Rock, VA, granddaughter, Zoey Stanley of Raccoon, KY, grandson, Greyson Stanley of Raccoon, KY. Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Sunday from 11-12:00 P.M. Graveside Rites for RONALD EUGENE BAILEY will be conducted Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stacy Cemetery on Coon Branch with Danny Hess officiating with burial to follow.
