TOMMY GENE COOK JR., 51 years of age of Raysal, WV, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV. Born in Boone County, WV, he was the son of Frankie (Mullins) Cook of Raysal, WV, and the late Tommy Gene Cook Sr. He was a lifelong resident of West Virginia and was of the Christian faith. He was a loving father, grandfather, horse trader and hunter. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by 1-Niece: Courtney O’Quinn; Paternal Grandfather: Dora and Marshall Cook; Maternal Grandfather: Sam and Lizzie Mullins; his former wife, Lydia Frazier Cook. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Frankie (Mullins) Cook of Raysal, WV; 1-Son: Thomas (Jamie) Cook of Raysal, WV; 1-Daughter: Stephanie Cook of Raysal, WV; 5-Grandsons: Hayden, Kaiden and Liam Cook, Jordan and Mason Christian; 3-Sisters: Ruby Kennedy of Abingdon, VA, Dora (Stephen) Zamara of Fort Worth, TX, Linda O’Quinn (companion Ritchie Lester) of Jolo, WV. Also, survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Jesus Church at Bartley, WV, Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services for TOMMY GENE COOK JR. will be conducted Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Jesus Church at Bartley, WV, with Pete Woods officiating with burial to follow in the Tom Sparks Cemetery on Rock Ridge.
