Patricia Ann McGinty, of Berlin, New Jersey, passed on Thursday December 3, 2020. She was 78 years old. She is survived by her beloved husband of 57 years, John F. McGinty Jr., her two children, John F. McGinty III and Judith Angelucci, her son-in-law Christopher Angelucci, daughter-in-law Georgia McGinty and her three grandchildren Elizabeth and Thomas Angelucci and Julia McGinty. She is also survived by her sister, Peggy Haley, and brothers Wayne and Kenneth Bielawski. Patricia fought a long and brave battle with pulmonary fibrosis and passed peacefully in her sleep, in her own home, surrounded by her devoted husband and her life-long and best friend Joyce (“Aunt Joyce”) Schaffer. Patricia was a bright light to all that knew her. She was always the most beautiful and put together woman in the room, but at the same time the most down-to-earth, kindest and most loving. She was equal parts “I Love Lucy,” and “Grace Kelly,” and was most alive “down the shore” with her toes in the sand or when her family was all together. She was a mother and friend to many and had the rare gift of making things special for everyone around her. She will be greatly missed, but held forever in the hearts of the people who were blessed to know and love her. A closed casket viewing will be held on Thursday December 10, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at St. Simon Stock Church, 178 W. White Horse Pike, Berlin, New Jersey 08009. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following the viewing. Internment following the Mass will be at Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum 2398 West Route 70, Cherry Hill 08002.
