Leanna "Lea" Louise Hutzell, 74, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Born in Points, WV on June 26, 1946, she was the daughter of the late William and Harriett (Hager) Edwards. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed talking with them on the computer, shopping online, and playing online games. She liked to read and take road trips. And she loved her church, the Church of the Brethren. Lea is survived by three daughters, Tina Hutzell, Patricia Dunn, and Shannon Stratton; one son, Gary F. Hutzell Jr.; six grandchildren, Karri Chisholm, Randy "Bud" Watkins, Shannon Myers, Michael Watkins, Joshua Stratton, and Samantha Stratton; five great grandchildren, Corey and Jacob Chisholm, Hailee Myers, Zac Watkins, and Addie Watkins; one sister and four brothers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary F. Hutzell Sr. and three sisters. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Twyla Rowe will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 5 to 7pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
