Mr. Bill K. Wood, 82 of Benton, KY died Thursday, December 3, 2020, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Born Monday, December 6, 1937 in Marshall Co., KY, he was the son of the late John Hill Wood and the late Gertrude (McGregor) Wood Bowlin. He was the co-owner of B W Auto Sales in Benton, KY. He was a member of First Missonary Baptist Church in Benton, KY. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Helen (Hubbs) Wood of Benton, KY; his children, Christie Wood (Dec), Randy Wood, wife Penny of Benton, KY, Danny Wood, wife Meena of Benton, KY, Angela Moore, husband Donnie of Benton, KY; sisters, Doris Timmons of Gilbertsville, KY and Jonda Stenzinger of Seneca, SC; grandchildren, Bailey Wood, John Robert Wood, Luke Wood, Ty Wood, Wade Moore, Blake Moore, Jax Moore, Allee Moore Canter, Katee Moore, Brett Moore; great-grandson, Silas Canter. Mr. Wood was preceded in death by his parents and daughter.. Due to the current mandate by Governor Beshear effective November 20, 2020, all funeral services, visitations, memorial services, and graveside services are required to be private. Services will be conducted by Rev. K. Alan Miller. Interment will follow the service at the Marshall Co. Memory Gardens.
