Dennis Cheney Sr., 71, of Deshler, Ohio passed away on December 1, 2020.  He was born on December 9, 1948 to the late Chester and Marguerite (Bolyard) Cheney.  He married Dorothy Taylor on June 9, 1967 and she preceded him in death.

Dennis is survived by his sons: Dennis Cheney Jr (Teresa) and Daryl (Kimberly) Cheney; daughter Lora (Carl) Sager; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; brothers Steve and Roger Cheney; and sister Judy Lianos.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Dorothy; grandchild Bryce Sager; great-grandchild Kase Zuhlsdorf; and brothers: Jim, Larry, Randy and Charles. 

Dennis enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and camping.  He also enjoyed playing the guitar and going to the casino.  He will be dearly missed. 

Celebration of Life for Dennis will be at a later date.
