Jean Wilson, 93, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Charlestown Senior Living Community in Catonsville. Jean was the wife of the late George Oliver Wilson. Jean was born on January 26, 1927 in La Grange, NC to the late Charles and Irdelle Jackson. She was a Registered Nurse and nursing supervisor at Springfield State Hospital in Maryland until her retirement in 1980. Jean is survived by her daughter-in-law, Ann Wilson of Littlestown, PA, and two grandchildren, Michael (Holli) Wilson of Cave Creek, AZ and Michelle “Shelly” (Hafey) Hyle of Parkville. She also leaves four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Chase, London and Hudson. Jean formerly attended Westminster United Methodist Church in Westminster. She enjoyed playing bridge, crocheting, knitting and playing the piano. She particularly loved classical music and the opera. Throughout her life, she liked to travel. In addition to her husband and parents, Jean was predeceased by her only son, Greg M. Wilson and by her sister Merle Sugg. Due to the Covid health crisis, there will be no services.
