Frank P. Ferrara
<p>Frank P. Ferrara, 87, Altoona, passed away Monday at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late John and Yolanda (Vecere) Ferrara.</p> <p>He is the last surviving member of his family and was preceded in death by two brothers: Thomas and Gabe Ferrara.</p> <p>Frank was a 1951 Altoona High School graduate. He worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad as an electrician and later retired from Penn Electric in 1991.</p> <p>He served in the US Army.</p> <p>Frank was a member of the Bavarian Aid Society and the A&J IaIa Post.</p> <p>Frank was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.</p> <p>A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am, Friday, Dec. 4, 2020 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, with military honors.
