Pauline “Polly” Klein, age 93 of Granville, IA passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020 at Bickford Assisted Living of Sioux City.  Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Granville, IA, with Father Daniel Greving officiating and Deacon Dan Goebel assisting. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Granville.  Services have been entrusted to Fisch Funeral Home &amp; Monument in Remsen, IA.  The funeral may be viewed later online at <a href="http://www.fischfh.com/">www.fischfh.com</a>.  Polly was born July 4, 1927 in Alton, IA, the daughter of George &amp; Catherine (Spieler) Schneider.  She was raised on a farm north of Granville.  She attended St. Mary’s Academy graduating in 1945.  She then attended Briar Cliff College in Sioux City for 2 years.  On Jan. 23, 1950 she married Hilary Klein at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Granville, IA.  The couple made their home in the Granville area.  Hilary passed away June 26, 2016.  Two years after Hilary passed away Polly moved into Landsmeer Ridge Retirement Community in Orange City, IA.  Just before she passed away, she moved into Bickford of Sioux City Assisted Living.  Polly was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and church guild in Granville.  She enjoyed cooking, sewing and traveling.    Survivors include one son, Dave (Faye) Klein of Granville; one daughter, Jan Harms of Le Mars, IA; grandchildren, Jill (Travis) Colling of Sioux City, IA and their children, Lincoln &amp; Bohdy; Ken Klein of Fort Collins, CO; Katie (Jordan) Johnson of Ankeny, IA and their children, Corbin &amp; Hensley; Andrew Klein of Des Moines, IA; Niki (Nick) Westergard of Brunsville, IA and son Lennon; Ryan (Tanya) La Bahn of Le Mars, IA and their children, Taylor &amp; Decker; one brother, Gordon (Bernice) Schneider of Granville, IA; one sister-in-law, Rosemary Braun of Orange City, IA.  She was preceded by, her parents, her husband, Hilary, one sister, Ruth (Bentley) Moris.  Casket bearers will be Andrew Klein, Travis Colling, Lincoln Colling, Ryan La Bahn, Niki Westergard and Nick Westergard.
