Patsy W. Hayslett, 92, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of Elmer Clyde Hayslett, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. She was born January 26,1928, in Harrodsburg, KY, to the late Truman Lee and the late Helen (Wilder) Wilham. Patsy was a homemaker, and was an active member of the Burgin United Methodist Church. She was a former Sunday School Teacher, President of Burgin United Methodist Women, and served on the church board. She was also vice president of Church Women United of Mercer County. Patsy is survived by: three daughters: Patsy Diane Camden of Danville, Priss Austin and Leigh Ison (Mike) McRay of Burgin, KY, and one son: Elmer Clyde "Buster" (Sue Ellen) Hayslett, II., six grandchildren, Kristie Marie (Brian) Bartley, Wendie Lee Austin, Sherman Camden, II, Luke C. E. Austin, Adam Michael McRay and Alexander Lee McRay; Step Grandchildren, Kimberly & Joshua Colp; three great grandchildren: Madeline Marie Bartley, Austin Denton Bartley and Tyler Luke Austin; and several nieces and nephews. Patsy was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jennifer Camden and two sisters, Margaret Spires and Ruth Young. Pallbearers will be: Sherman Camden II, Austin Bartley, Brian Bartley, Luke Austin, Tyler Austin, Adam McRay and Alex McRay. Honorary Bearer: Madeline Bartley. Private services will be held at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in the Burgin Memorial Garden. The family request memorial donations be sent to Burgin United Methodist Church, 739 Mallard Cove, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
