<p> Mrs. Carolyn Young Binkley, age 80, of 460 E. Georgia St., Woodruff, widow of Alvin K. Binkley, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020 at Spartanburg Medical Center.</p> <p> Mrs. Binkley was born in Newberry Co., November 23, 1940 a daughter of the late Doris Davis Hogue. She was a homemaker and formerly employed with Milliken Co., Cedar Hill Plant.</p> <p> Surviving are a daughter, Gina Ballard of Woodruff; two sons, Robin S. Collier of Gastonia, NC and Charles J. Collier of Union; a sister, Jackie Hembree of Gastonia, NC; six grandchildren, Amber White, Jamie Ivey, Robin S. Collier, II, Megan Mathis, Kelsey Ingle, and Julia Ballard; and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Binkley was predeceased by daughter, Sheila C. Bogan and a grandson, Curtis V. Collier.</p> <p> Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 4, 2020 at Whitmire Cemetery conducted by Ms. Teresa Collier. The family will receive friends at the graveside immediately following the service.
