Wayne Swift
<p><span style="font-size: 20px;">Wayne Swift, 74, passed away peacefully at Season's Hospice, NW Hospital on December 1, 2020, of Renal Failure.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 20px;">Wayne retired from Northrop Grumman in 2018. He was a Sr. Subcontract Administrator. Wayne attended Poly Tech High School. He graduated from Catonsville High School in 1964. Wayne received his Bachelors Degree (BA) from University of Maryland magna cum laude.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 20px;">Wayne is survived by his loving wife Barbara A. Wayland, son Jason Swift, daughter Jamie Swift, stepchildren John Wayland & Leanna Montgomery & her spouse Jay, grandson JT Montgomery. He is also survived by his first wife Patricia Hensby. </span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 20px;">Wayne lived & breathed golf. He loved playing golf with friends at numerous courses. In his younger years he was a member of Turf Valley Country & Golf Club. Wayne had an outgoing personality & loved meeting & talking to people. At age 21, he coached a young men's football team in Arbutus/Catonsville. He was president of NAPM, National Association of Purchasing Management now Institute of Supply Managers.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 20px;">After graduating from Catonsville, he worked at the Hecht Co. in Woman's perfume warehouse before moving onto Westinghouse.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 20px;">Family & friends may gather at the family owned & operated Ambrose Funeral Home, Inc., 1328 Sulphur Spring Rd., Halethorpe, MD 21227 for a public visitation on Sunday, December 13th from 3:00-5:00 PM & 7:00-9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 14th at 11:00 AM at the same location. Interment will immediately follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens.</span></p> <p> </p>Obituary
