Gertrude Valverde age 74 of Raton, NM, passed away November 22, 2020 in Raton. She was born March 5, 1946 in Raton the daughter of Felix and Emila Martinez-Paiz. She had worked as a C.N.A. for many years. She is preceded in death by he parents and sister Linda Montoya. Gertrude is survived by three sons, Jessie Herrera of Hobbs, NM, James Fredrick Herrera and Jeremy Bradford both of Raton. One sister Mary L. Sedillo of Raton two brothers Larry Martinez and Orlando Martinez and wife Carman of Raton. And very best friend Sandy Sanderson of Raton. And numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
