Matthew Alexander Walls, 24, of Paragould, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020.  He was born May 7, 1996, in Paragould, to Rick and Traci Walls.  Matthew was a very happy kid who enjoyed playing video games, playing music, and chatting online.  He loved being outside working in the flower gardens.

Matthew was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Donald Walls and Willie Walker, and grandmother, Vera Bishop.

Survivors include his parents, Rick and Traci Walls; grandparents; Agnes Walker and Bobby and Alicia Foster; sister and brother in law, Amber and Steve Hackney; nieces and nephews, Adian Holt, Athena Hackney, Stephianey Hackney, and Will Hackney; aunts and uncles, Susan and Mike Lankford, Tina and Brian Harper, Tony Foster, Tracy and Steven Jones, and Don and Brenda Walls; and a host of other loving family members.

The family will receive friends Friday, December 4, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Phillips Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 4, at Phillips Funeral Home with Tommy Hazlewood and Ken Roden officiating.  Burial will follow at Cardwell Cemetery.

Steve Hackney, Laramie Foster, Mitchell Lankford, Austin Hospkins, Anthony Foster, and Trent Davis will serve as pallbearers.
