Tatjana (Tanja) Hausmann of Mahwah, NJ passed away peacefully on December 1, 2020, another victim to Covid-19. She was born in Kovno Lithuania December 09, 1921. Move to Germany where she meet her husband Karl-Heinz and then together with daughter Renate moved to Canada where their son Arno was born. The family then move to United States which became their final home. Tanja work as a technical solder for Scott Aviation in Lancaster NY where her husband was General Manger of the machine shop. Tanja spoke several languages including English ,Russian, German, Polish, Lithuanian and Ukrainian. After her husband passed away in 1976 she continued to work until she retired at 65. She then moved to Mahwah, New Jersey to be near her daughter and son. In retirement Tanja loved to cook, sew, and garden. Her flowers were her pride and joy along with her grand daughter Nicole and her great grand children Gavin, Maxwell, and Asher. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her for her kindness, generosity and love of life. She will live on in our memories! Due to unforeseen circumstances there will not be a formal funeral service held for Tanja in the funeral home. Tanja's graveside service will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2020 at Maryrest Cemetery, 770 Darlington Ave., in Mahwah.
