Junellen Jacobs Strickland
<p>Junellen Jacobs Strickland, age 73 of Maxton passed away on December 1,2020.</p> <p>Junellen was the daughter of the late John Wesley Jacobs and Susanna Locklear Jacobs born June 13, 1947 in Scotland County, NC. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and others as a nursing assistant. She faithfully served the Lord and was a member of White Hill Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, reading, floral arranging, fishing and truly loved sharing her time with family.</p> <p>Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Christopher Dewayne Strickland.</p> <p>Junellen leaves behind her children, sons, Fabian Strickland (Shirley) of Maxton, Trent Strickland (Sonja) of Wilmington, DE; daughters, Bobbie Sampson (Bryan) and Makesha Goins (Wayne) each of Maxton; brothers, Neal Jones of Dunn, NC, Randy Jones (Teresa) of Fayetteville, Brent Jones (Anita) of Maxton; sisters, Paulette Deese of Maxton, Pam Lowery (Marcus) of Garner; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her loving nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.</p> <p>Services will be held at Graveside 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in the White Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
