Ronnie Joe Adkins 71 of Ashland, KY formerly of Tram, KY., passed from this earthly life Sunday November 29, 2020 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY. Ronnie was born Wednesday February 22, 1949 in Williamson, WV a son of the late Joe and Artie "Newsome" Adkins. Ronnie was a retired coal miner, a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Hoods Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Ronnie and his wife Dian were members of the Cowpen Freewill Baptist church of Pikeville, KY. before moving to Ashland, KY. Ronnie is survived by his wife Dian "Ward" Adkins of Ashland, KY. , two sons Frankie L Adkins of Russell, KY and Johnny Joe Adkins of Ashland, KY; one Daughter Tammy Dian Adkins of South Point, OH; and one brother Jonah Adkins and his wife Brenda of Elkhorn City, KY. Ronnie leaves behind many other family and friends to mourn his passing. Ronnie Joe Adkins will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
